Café Continues To Expand Market Presence With Addition
Of Energy Focused Alternative Investors.
Panda Energy, Crossfoot
Energy, Paladin Capital Group and Blue Tip Energy Partners Are Latest Investors
To Leverage Outsourced Reporting Benefits.
NEW YORK, October 6, 2008
A number of leading
alternative investors focused on the energy sector have recently signed
agreements with Investment Café, a leading provider of technology-based
financial and information reporting systems, and plan to launch shortly their
new outsourced online administrative reporting function for investors managed
by Investment Café.
Investment Café has made rapid
inroads into a number of alternative investment sectors including, private
equity, real estate, hedge fund, and venture capital. The firm’s presence continues to expand to
new investment categories, including energy, as companies increasingly realize
the benefits of outsourcing administrative reporting responsibilities.
The addition of several
new leading energy investors demonstrates the versatility of the company’s
premier reporting system which provides investors with the ability
to generate online capital accounts and detailed reporting on their investments. These reports include starting and ending
balances, as well as the underlying transactions supporting those balances, in
a program similar to online banking systems.
The
energy firms that have signed multi-year agreements with Investment Café are
Panda Energy, a Dallas based company that has developed, financed, constructed
and operated large-scale energy facilities both domestically and
internationally; Crossfoot Energy, LLC, a Texas energy company that
focuses on the acquisition and operation of producing energy assets; Paladin
Capital Group, a premier private equity firm that provides expansion capital
for growing companies whose principal business centers on products and services
that address homeland security issues and needs; and Blue Tip Energy Partners,
LP, an energy-focused private equity fund that targets low-risk underperforming
oil and gas assets.
“Investment
Café has already developed a leading presence in our core markets of private
equity and venture capital and we are quite pleased that investors in other key
alternative investment sectors now recognize the value of our product,” said Ken Pierce, Investment Café’s Managing Director.
“Our newest clients in the energy sector
wanted a partner who can bring those same levels of quality and service to help
satisfy their investor reporting needs and one of the keys to our success is
our ability to meet the needs of a broad range of investors.”
Investment
Café’s clients include an impressive list of firms representing private equity,
venture capital, hedge funds and real estate funds. MidMark Capital, Monomoy Capital Partners,
and Graham Partners are among the firm’s middle market private equity clients.
Larger firms include Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, The Carlyle Group, Blackrock, Ripplewood,
and GTCR. Venture
capital firms Opus Capital and First Round Capital and real estate funds Covington
Realty, Laramar Group, Colony Capital, and NBS Real Estate Capital are also
